DHS Visual Art Program Overview
The DHS Visual Art program consists of four classes: Art 1, Art 2, Art 3, and Art 4. Each class is a general approach to art that includes drawing, painting, ceramics, and sculpture. The level of skill, creativity, and individuality increases as students progress through the levels. Please visit the pages for each class level to learn more and see examples of student artwork.
Students can also participate in contests throughout the year. The Denison Performing Arts hosts a contest every spring called the Young At Art show. Annual YAA show dates will be announced as soon as they are decided.
