This course will provide the student with fundamental to advanced dance skills.  Further, this course will develop student appreciation of dance as an art form and lifetime activity.  The student shall develop kinesthetic awareness, movement memory, creative potential and aesthetic appreciation of the various dance forms.  This course shall also enhance the development of and maintenance of physical fitness and self-confidence through the use of the body by providing informal showings during class, as well as, having an opportunity to perform in a live concert at the end of the spring semester.
