Head Start Program
Head Start is a full-day federally funded program for three and four-year-old preschool children. Students must live in Denison ISD. Your child will not be registered until all required eligibility has been met. Eligibility for Head Start is based on income and completed paper work.
Head Start Enrollment Qualifications:

Child must be 3 or 4 years old on/or before Sept. 1, 2023

Family must be income eligible

Family is homeless

Foster child

Head Start provides an online application process, which can be done from a mobile device or computer. Once the online application is complete a staff member from Head Start will contact the family to begin the qualification process by scheduling an eligibility interview.
